Re: Wearing a kilt to work. Underwear or Not?
Why not ask your wife or a female friend if you could spend the day with her, and have her describe every move she makes to properly wear a pleated skirt. There's more to it than you think, and it takes practice.
The decision is ultimately yours, but I agree that you have to go on the theory that you will be exposed at some time and be prepared for the consequences.
Whatever you decide, enjoy wearing the kilt!
Cheers, Jocelyn

Re: Wearing a kilt to work. Underwear or Not?
OK, here's my answer.
1. My kilts are wool and they aren't cheap. I wear compression shorts underneath them.
2. I fart a lot. I'm good at it. Everybody farts. Part of what gives farts their odor are bits of, well, poop which come out with the gas. Flatulence
3. If you're good with that on a nice kilt with no intervening barrier ........

I frankly can't believe that this thread is still going on. Enough already. Let the better part of wisdom prevail and close the thread.

You gave me a right good bellyaching laugh Monk, but nevertheless what you said very directly is true.

I know this is a old topic, but i stumbled across it.. Why the big fuss about climbing stairs when women do it every day wearing skirts that are shorter then our kilts? But yet when a guy decides to wear a kilt in the same situation, a big deal is made out of it???.. I always wear bikini briefs under mine all time. No I dont wear Kilts at work. Its all the time im not working i wear one. Why does everybody say "I got "offended" because I saw your underwear".. But yet if a women flashes accidentely its perfectly fine??.. It seems that a guy gets the short end of the stick in any situation that arises.

To go regimental or not . . . .
Do you work as a member of a regiment?

When I wore the kilt to accompany my daughter's grammar school class to a Chicago Shakes production of MacBeth, the principal took me aside and said, "Mr. Gronkowski...we're not going to have any...uh...problems with the kilt, are we?" And I said, "Mr. Willis, I could do a handstand right now and there wouldn't be any problems." So I always got that "covered"...if you get my drift. As Blind Faith once said, "Do What You Like".

I've been wearing kilts to work every day for about six years. I've never had a problem. Nobody will know if you don't wear undergarments as long as you exercise some basic common sense.

This is an old thread that I have peeked at several times without tossing in my two cents but seeing this thing remain alive is starting to scare me. I think the question and answer are both simple.
Should you go to work without underwear on regardless of what you are wearing?
No. A work place is not a bar or a highland games. It is a business.
Common sense should prevaiil.
