Ahhhh.... My devious plan succeeds! You see, I KNEW that Jamie would be irresistibly drawn to a discussion of the Elder Gods like a moth to a flame... ith: Now that we've lured him in, perhaps he would go in on a kilt made from the Insanity tartan! Muhuhuhahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

Amazon has it too -
The Call of Cthulhu: The Celebrated Story by H.P. Lovecraft (2007)
They also have Dragon and Cool Air, while I've never seen them, they definitely look interesting and have decent reviews.
On the tartan how much would it cost? Even without the fun that is one nice tartan. If enough of us go together I willing to throw in.

DC Dalgliesh is probably the best bet for a custom weave. If we got enough yardage spoken for, we could get a double width.
Perhaps someone could chime in with a $/yd estimate.

If there is a 16 yard minimum order it would be woven in double width for £20/yd wholesale price. ... if memory serves me correctly.

The Call of Cthulhu is really great, so is Dagon, but be aware that due to ownership of film rights etc...after about 15 minuets Dagon turns into The Shadow over Innsmouth!
Order of the Dandelion, The Houston Area Kilt Society, Bald Rabble in Kilts, Kilted Texas Rabble Rousers, The Flatcap Confederation, Kilted Playtron Group.

My minions are definitely interested in the tartan design. One asks, "Would that make us Cthulhu Kiltists?".

I'm killed in the war or hung during peace."

Of course, if you wanted to be more "covert" about the whole thing, which would only make sense to those who were "in" on the whole thing, you could register the tartan name as the "R'lyeh" tartan. Then only those who were familiar with Lovecraftian lore would know...
But seriously, if you ever wanted to order fabric in that tartan, I bet you could get some support and people to go in on the purchase if you opened the offer to the folks at the Lovecraft Historical Society.... (Just a thought).

I would be interested in a kilted skirt from that tartan! what weight would you all want to get?
I'm currently making small 4" cthulhu dolls for a scifi convention in March.
Maybe I should make one kilted... <G>
