Unlike almost all other "stouts" I find it both light and not filling! It's almost too easy to drink, so I limit my intake to one or two pints, or a couple of "black and tans" made with Bass, Harp, or even Fat Tire.
Well now, here's a perfect use of Guinness - as a sort of mixing stout. I too like my black-and-tan or half-and-half every now and then.

Die hard Guinness Extra Stout drinker here, and for me, it was the first beer I had ever had-so I am sorta biased. Have had both the original Irish brew, and the Americanized stuff. Good thing the Irish stuff is nearly unavailable. I would be one of those "drinkers with a bowling problem"...
Most other beers seem...weak? I do enjoy Killian's Red and some of the Sam Adam's brews. Would love to get my hands on the Triple Bock by Sam Adams...
Proud owner of a can of Billy Beer...wonder what that would taste like now...

Mark: Good thing you only give your location as Central Illinois. Othewise, I know a bunch of good 'ol boys who would be after you for that can of Billy Beer.
Put it in a little Confederate kilt and post a picture. That'll torture 'em. ;-)
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Confederate kilt, eh? No damn Yankee myself, so I am hanging onto it...I will take a photo this weekend. No kilted likely though.

Last weekend, I bought a four-pack of the Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout at my local package store. It's a very delicious stout! So, I will add it to my circulation of stouts to drink. Thanks, BP!
