Hi Dale,
Thank you. Maybe a picture once I've learned my way around the forum a bit more and figured out such things.
Here is a link to the original thread on this forum where I first read about the Polaris Military tartan.

And a picture on wikipaedia apparently made by the same quy who made the enquiries on this forum in the above thread. For kilt pins he is using duplicates of his submarine dolphins and his patrol badge.

To bring the thread back on topic.
I've been to the first showing of Brave here in Hawick Scotland this afternoon, kilted of course, and accompanied by my red-haired blue eyed partner whose hobby is archery!
The cinema had a full house for the first showing and the next showing is already fully booked.
Brave is in town for the next three weeks and I understand there are plans to slot in a few additional showings during that period.

Which kilt/tartan did you wear and how was the movie received generally by your crowd?
Your lady looks awesome with the bow! After the Hunger Games and now Brave, my daughter is pretty keen to pick up the bow, too. Our neighbours are worried...

That is flippin' HI-larious!!! Don't feel too bad, though- I cried during Braveheart and that was in college, especially when I saw it in Ireland. DAMN YOU MEL GIBSON!

I wore my navy blue kilt by 21st Century Kilts.
The film was very well received, lots of families there with young children and they all appeared to enjoy the story and animation thoroughly.
