    That was fun. I didn't realise the footwork that goes into Highland Dancing. Or the muscle needed to toss a caber. (The Guid Larid either gives a boy the body to toss a caber or to dance a Highland Fling, but not both as far as I could tell.)

    I got a nice walking stick with stag antler head and a lovely second hand illustrated book from the 20s on the Walter Scot country.

    Took 4 1/4 hours to drive home. 2 hours on the M25 at a stand-still.

    Sorry to hear that Chas, took me 1hr 40mins for 125 miles, traffic all the way,but a high speed convoy once out of the Luton area.
    If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!
