I may not have a set of legs under me right now, but I have viable gluteus mediaii, again. And I've been working gunz and shoulders for a couple of weeks. So I feel buff....
...which has nothing at all to do with throwing far, but what the heck.

Feeling buff is a good thing.

Attempting to do a single-leg squat with Kristina in the gym yesterday, on top of the PT visit I had today, reveals that there's a gross strength difference between my right and left leg. There will be no big squats, or big ANY-thing leg-wise until I get that evened out.
That means I'll be working on....evening them out, abs, and gunz.

I am SO thrashed and sore from PT yesterday and the hips, glute and quads work I've been doing that I decided to take a recovery day. Seriously. A recovery day from physical therapy. Oy..

I think I will be shutting down this log, as I don't really find myself using it any more and the community of XMTS athletes has shrunk, drastically. I'm in touch with most of the former XMTS athletes on Facebook, and the variety/depth of posted information is much greater there than it is here. "Former" XMTS athletes means people who contribute on XMTS but also participate in the Highland Athletics. Most of the people that I'm thinking of are still competing. They just don't really write about it here any more. Martin Roy is the shining exception to that trend. I hope you enjoy reviewing his log, it's pretty informative.
Also, the nature of my training is undergoing a significant metamorphosis this year and I don't think most people really care to read about it. It's not really going to be that appropriate for anybody else. Finally, the nature of the XMTS population has morphed over the past several years and I think that the overwhelming majority of XMTS readers are much more interested in reading about the more conservative and traditional end of the clothing, itself, than us grubby guys out here in the mud! In a way, that's a step back to the core purpose of the forum, which is about KILTS, not just "Scottish Stuff" generally. So this is not a bad thing. It just "is".
OK, so this is a wrap. Carry on!
