I use the name "ardchoille" online nad have been doing so for years. ardchoille comes from the Gaelic "Ard Choille!" which translates to "To the high trees!", it's the war cry of my clan. I have always loved things made from wood and it just seemed appropriate to use this as an online name

Mine is pretty boring. Sean is my first name and since its a kilt website, I figured i would add something about kilts. I'd probably choose something different if I had thought about it more.

Retro Red is my DJ name.
"Retro" means relating to things past & being 51, I can certainly relate to things past.
"Red" for my red-hair & it's what people would often call me.
Plus, I like alliteration.
.
Happiness? I'd settle for being less annoyed!!!

I decided to go with something scottish, since I wear my kilts as a reflection of my scottish heritage. I thought of the royal flag and there you have it.

After serving in the Submarine Service for 15 years, I use the naval designation of submarine weapons for my screen names. I was a Fire Control Tech, the guy that launched all the cool weapons
UGM84 is the US Navy designation for the Submarine-launched version of the Harpoon Anti-ship missle.

"Rob", or Rab as my Scottish son-in-law spells it, is one of the diminutives of my first name. In my family, Robert is the first name of the first son in every generation since coming to the US. Infact at one time, there were four us at one table. Now, we are down to two.
"Irish", because my grandfather always told us "there are only 2 kinds of people in this world...those that are Irish and those that wish they could be!"...even though he was half Irish and half German.
I have since learned that my ancestors were hired in Scotland as gallowglasses and guards of the original O'Neill and stayed in Ireland.
