I just dont understand how it can happen ?
The moths musta ate some of the excess fabric!
--- I just ran to two of three targets in town... mostly smalls left. I tried on a large, but it was a tad tight in teh chest... bummer... so i rushed over to the other target but they only had mediums and small. The missus told me she would ride out to the third joint tomorrow morning to see if they have an XL.
Other wise these were well worth the money.

I'm glad someone bumped this thread up. I got one of them at Target this evening - $25

Don't have to just look at Target. This trend is taking off in other dept. stores, too. I saw some very similar vests for sale in our local dept store (Belk) just tonight. These were tweed, both charcoal and brown, for about $25.
I think this trend will be everywhere this year--just look around. I'm sure that Sears, JC Penney, Saks, Macy's, etc. will jump on the bandwagon.
The length seems about just right for a kilt and dresses up nicely with no alteration required (usually!).

Damn my strange (read: short, stocky) dimensions!

Sears has charcoal herringbone vests on sale as well. They're a six-button front, but they look nice, especially for half-price.

I wish that Target had a matching sportcoat that could be modded into a kilt jacket, but sadly, no...

I bought two of these waist coats earlier in the week, and they just arrived. I love them. Absolutely fantastic for the price, and they really don't feel or look cheap. I'll post some pics shortly
