They're OK for 20 quid. I've had the black one for two or three years and it's wearing well. It gets hard use too, I'm in it nearly every day. The faded blue one in the first pic is a Levi and I've just retired it after 13 years. It's still wearable but it's a bit thread-bare now. I replaced it with a blue one from the same ebay chaps. £22 delivered is a bit of a snip.

[QUOTE=English Bloke;1180302]I don't think I manage ULTRA casual but I do dress to be comfy. It depends on what's going on at the time as to how I wear my Kilt.
I agree with you that the Kilt being a small or large "WRAP" can be casual, informal, formal, and black tie.
I wonder what folks will be saying about this "WRAP" in 500 years.
Traditions are built over time and fashion/cloths/coverings are really about many conditions:
1. Weather;
2. Location;
3. Event: sport, religious, political, etc.
4. Cost of raw materials;
5. Labour;
6. Tradition
;-) . . . I am grateful that I live in California next to the Pacific where the temperature is KILT weather 365 days per year.

And many variations there-of... I've got some of "Pink Floyd T-shirt Bruce" (was reprimanded for that one, apparently old men in rock T-shirts is not acceptable). and "Smashed out mee face Bruce" and "Not caring a jot about what anyone thinks I should wear Bruce" but I'll skip those. You probably get the idea already. QUOTE]
Lemme see if I can cover these in one photo.....

Yep

In regards to the original post: I think the look you have going on is decent. So long as your shirts don't go too long, tucking them in may not be needed. Honestly I've never been a t-shirt and jeans kind of person. I haven't owned a pair of jeans since 1995/96 when I was in the 6th grade. I, by choice went to chinos and button down shirts. That decision made me a bit of a target going through middle school and the first three years of high school dressed like that in a run down farming community. So in my senior year I re-made my look. I went renfair grade medieval with only scant times of other periods of dress (Victorian, and such).
Now that I have been out of school for a little past 10 years, I still would rather dress historical (my authenticity has increased since), but I have time where I simply can't. On the recommendation of my wife I took up kilts. I prefer the "traditional with historical flair" style that I've been working with, but I do the renfair accurate renaissance thing when I'm being VERY casual or practicing sword play. You however seem the t-shirt type, and I think you have adapted it very well.
