Will, that is a fine looking jacket.
We ran into Chief Maclaine Sunday morning, and he was extremely gracious and chatted with us for some time. He agreed to pose for a photo with mom and my daughter, Skye.

I enjoyed the meet-up in Conyers on Friday. It was great meeting you folks.
My wife, grand-son and myself had a great time at the games this weekend. The weather was perfect.
We left today at about 4:30 and the 3 year old did not make it out of the parking lot before he fell asleep.
We are already planning next years trip with more family members.

Classic! I was pondering taking my two-yo son this year since he looks so awesome in his kilt, but thought it might be too much since I'm sure my 4yo daughter would not want to be left behind (she wants to go to Scotland, too).
How was it with the wee one? I've only experienced SMHG with a wanna-be-teenager, which was stressful enough...

Indeed we did! It was super meeting you and your lovely wife, and all of the other XMarkers who came out for the pre-Games revelries. Should have gotten a photo sooner.
Here are the last four standing (Cardinal, Kanati, Tripleblessed, and Lamar Britt):

STM was there, but both times I went by their tent Matt was not to be seen.
Sorry I missed the meet up, I may have had too much Glenmorangie by then. You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning.

Thanks to the weather and a well planned event, he had a blast. If I had to guess his favorite thing was the Hawk demonstration and swords. He also spent more time watching the heavy events than I expected.
To him a sword is pretty much anything, two forks, two sticks; It has to be two, he is into ninja turtles.
We got him two wooden swords and "it was on".
One of the clan tents had a sword in a stone and they let him pull it out. I have a great picture of the good gentleman trying to convince the little guy to give back the steel broad sword. The wooden swords were the compromise.
On the way out he was packing his swords and as he crossed a manhole cover he stomped on it and tapped his swords down and yelled "Hey wake up Turtles". He had everyone in earshot laughing.
