Please do.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

For this Friday adventure, I wore my USA Kilt 5 yarder in weathered Ulster tartan with an Artificer sporran. Typical day at the office. Folks there are use to my Kilted Fridays. There was an amusing moment early in the morning. A resident said to me as I was seated at my desk, “I don’t see your bicycle in the bike rack. With a skeptical why? She replied ‘its national bike day!’ Well, I said jumping up to a standing position, I didn’t forget its Kilted Friday! She gave a big laugh.
My shirt is a Cabela safari which I had a local embroidery shop add the following.
I ended the day at the office with the lady who says every Friday she has to remember to get my photo by bringing her camera. I’ve decided to print one for her. I’ve given up her gorgeous daughter will show up to take one. LOL
Later that evening I went to a local Irish pub to hear a friend perform. It was an enjoyable time with some good craic at the end of the performance. The proprietor keeps his cask lines clean so the Guinness is especially good there.

I stopped by my pipe teacher's office to pick up a bar mirror he wanted me to have. Very nice image of a highlander with both dirk and pistol. I promptly hung it in my shop. It's hard to get a good photo of a mirror, but here it is.

The guys in my office are always pranking each other. A contractor brought in this sign and put it up, and when the guys saw it, they simply couldn't help themselves...

I'm wearing plaid tonight (shirt, photo below) and am acting photographer for my wife's 40th High School Reunion pre-party. This will be a three day event, as they are the "Bicentennial Class of '76". My kilt is still novel to the area, so not to distract from "their" weekend, I will clad in plaid only with shirts.

May has been a rainy and chilly, but the weather changed this week to summery temperatures so it was PV and cotton hose for me. USA Kilts semi trad in Malcolm modern with Freedom Carry All sporran. Substituted a Panama for my bonnet.
For the lady who is always reminding herself to bring her camera to get my photo, I decided to give her the below photo of me in my Newsome single box pleat in St. Columba tartan taken at the local Ren Faire. Artificer custom sporran and belt. Cromach is a souvenir from trip to Scotland.
She arrived earlier than usual and I had placed it her community mailbox. She was delighted saying that she was to going to frame and put it on her mantle. She couldn’t wait to show her daughter who was going to be visiting next week.

weathered ulster tartan
Mael Colium ,Which mill is your weathered Ulster from? I always liked this tartan but from the tartans availabe thought the red too bright and sought a less bright red but retaining the green as green. I know there is a gold and a brown version as well
