Footwear with a mini/Billie kilt ?
I like a casual look and have been searching for footwear that looks good with a short kilted skirt. Scottesque from Aberdeen have many of their models wearing knee high boots with their ladies kilts- mostly the full skirted ones. What do you gals wear with yours ? I guess for a dressy look maybe heels but I'm thinking of everyday wear.

Our ladies will make good comments and suggestions. I (an advocate to proper footwear for the environment or event attended) will suggest you use common sense with your choice. If hiking, then boots will work, if dinner setting, then low heals will work, even sport shoes for casual "about town" wear, etc.
If you are needing a fashion (even shock) statement, then thigh high, patent leather, zippered with large buckles are needed. Be prepared for a response from the public if that is your decision. Common sense holds great sway when kilted and increases confidence of self in my opinion.

My wife wears tights and leggings with her skirts as well; boots, too.

Coming in late here...
With my utility kilt I wear full or footless tights and knee high low heeled boot, ankle high work boot style, or black over the ankle with several buckle "combat" style boots. With my kilted skirts I wear the knee high boots, mary janes, or sandals depending on the weather and where I am going

Back in the days when I wore a mini skirt I wore long suede boots with them - very like the ones in fashion at the moment, but with high heels. The flat heeled ones look a lot more comfortable.
