pipes like you've never heard before
My son is an excellent traditional piper, but he also plays in a very fine Celtic rock band. Lately he has been experimenting with new ways to utilize the pipes.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you DubStep Bagpipes.

Interesting combination of tonalities; well developed and balanced. I like it!

I'm not a fan, but thank you for sharing. I know some people who will find this is right up their alley. I'll be sure to pass the link on.

Ditto, HL, well put together but not quite my thing.
Congrats to him. You must be proud.

This isn't going onto my iPod either, I can assure you, but he's really having fun stretching the pipes into new areas. I just wish I could convince him to wear his hearing protection!

What? Hearing protection?
I've actually been starting to wear ear plugs at shows. The loud PA and my bro's marshall stack cranked to 11 is quite deafening.

Tartan Hiker, tell him to wear at least a plug in his left ear. I know several pipers who are hard of hearing in their left from the close proximity of the drones.
I wish I believed in reincarnation. Where's Charles Martel when you need him?
