The Scottish Society of Fredericksburg is happy to announce that our annual
Burns Night Supper will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022,
and you are cordially invited!
It will be held at the Holiday Inn Fredericksburg Conference Center,
20 Sanford Lane, Fredericksburg, VA.
The social hour will begin at 5 o'clock pm,
and festivities will start at 6 o'clock pm.
This year marks the 221st anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns,
Scotland’s own National Bard.
Join us for an evening of poems and song celebrating his life and work.
Burns Night is open to the public, and your family and friends are welcome!
A full dinner, including haggis, will be served, and a cash bar will be available.
A special guest will give the "Immortal Memory" speech: Robbie Burns!
The rousing Mary Washington University Eagle Pipe Band, joined by
Highland Dancers, will provide traditional Scottish entertainment.
The Welsh/Celtic band, DragonFyre, will take us on a trip to the
hills and glens of Scotland with their evocative Celtic music.
Remember to bring cash for our popular raffle, which will round out the evening.
