Celtic knot heavy pewter cantle sporran

    SOLD

I am selling my own-made 'vintage' leather sporran fitted with a heavy cast-pewter cantle.

The bag is well-figured with an 'aged' pattern grain, and is line with a velvet-like doeskin to prevent scratching of items like mobile-phone screens.

It is entirely cut, stitched, braided and finished by hand, using eleements copied from vintage sporrans. It measures approximately 9 1/2" x 7" with a deep and generous gusset for practical capacity.

I would like £195 ($245us) plus shipping from Scotland at cost.

It comes as shown - to take a normal clip-on chain-strap.

The D-rings are attached to a tab that has been passed through the strap panel, and so can be easily slipped out if an all-leather strap is preferred.

I may have enough leather to make a matching shain-strap - I will amend the listing if I have, and when it is done.

Amongst my stash of new-old-stock items, I have a couple of unused brown leather and chrome chain-straps that came with an auction lot of 1950s gear. I think the straps are of that era, or possibly slightly earlier.

The leather is a near match for the shade of the sporran, so I will included one of them with the sporran.

This would make the sporran immediately wearable, and save the need to swap one over from another sporran.
