Ardenwood Tartan Day Scottish Faire, 7 April...

Anyone in the Bay area planning to go? It will be my second kilted foray into the world. I could use the support. Things like, "You call those knees", "Really?.....I'll not comment", "Now.........Where did my wife go?....followed by a puff of dust, & my favourite, "My Mum said, stay quiet, if you can't say anything nice".

I'm planning on attending again this year. If there is an XMarks gathering, I'll be sure to pop by, just say where and when. Otherwise I'll be wandering around, especially at the athletics area and the music stage or over at the dancers, or maybe listening to the pipers...so we'll figure it out!

The current plan is to be there. As it's a quick run across the Dumbarton, it's too close to miss

I'll be there in a Macdonald kilt. It's only about a 10 min drive for me, being in San Jose. It will be my third or forth kilted outing.

A little bump, to see if there is anyone else planning to go. So far, 3 kilted, & my entourage..."She", & the longtime no longer a tax deduction.

Been listening to the projected forecast. All say rain for the weekend. Closer look, rain am, Saturday total....250"? Shouldn't be enough to cause much trouble.

Ugh..100% chance of rain. So that's no drizzle. But one never knows, it may come in early, come in later, or just not be as strong as they predict.

I hope it means 100% chance of .250" of rain. If one can believe the predictors....

    APR 7
AM Rain 64°49° 80% Chance WSW 15 mph 74% Humidity
UV Index Sunrise Sunset Moonrise Moonset
    6 of 10 6:44 am 7:36 pm 1:43 am 11:49 am
Cloudy and damp with rain in the morning...then becoming partly cloudy. High 64F. Winds WSW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Rainfall around a quarter of an inch.
