Next Kilt Night In Surprise Maybe??
There is a new Irish Pub out here in Surprise called "The Irish Wolfhound Pub". My neighbors said they have pretty good food, so I thought it might make a good spot for a Kilt Night!
Here's their website: http://www.irishwolfhoundpub.com
(Their menu & pricing is on there as well.)
Since there hasn't been a "Kilt night" for the Phoenix area in a while (at least that I was aware of), would any of the rabble be interested in getting together out in Surprise sometime next month?
Other than the first two weekends in April, I'm open for whatever is convenient for folks. Would you want to meet up on a weekday or Friday/Saturday? Let me know what you all think!

Since Surprise is on the other side of the Valley for me (I live in the East Valley), a Saturday would work best for me.
I followed your link and it looks like a place worth a kilt night visit to me.

Since I am home only on weekends, Saturday would work for me.

Well, it seems that a Saturday would work for everyone, so how about April 17th?
Do you all want to meet up for lunch or dinner and would you want to have an early/late lunch or early/late dinner?
Looks like the live music for Saturday night is a group called "Hit Lab", which plays classic rock. They start playing at 9pm. Personally, I don't care for classic rock or large crowds, so my vote would be for lunch.
However, I'll go with whatever the majority chooses, as I don't have to drive far to get there...for once!

P.S. Keep in mind the traffic. Grand Ave "north/west" from the 101 is under construction all the way to the 303, so the best route to take would be the 101 to Bell Rd. (either from the south or the north), then Bell Rd. west to Litchfield Rd. Turn left on Litchfield from Bell and the Irish Wolfhound is on the east side of the street. (The location tab on the website has a map, which is dragable, so you can plot your route to get there!)
Also keep in mind any closures that ADOT might have going on, as they seem to like to close the freeways on the weekends, making cross-valley traveling a challenge. (I believe the 202 by the airport has some construction going on.)

Scratchy....will you & MB be able to make it? That would be awesome to finally be able to meet you both in person! It'll also be a mini GT get together too!

Not sure if the 17th will work for me. I might be working at Country Thunder with the Lions club. I haven't checked with my wife yet if that date will work if the Country Thunder falls through.
I do like the idea of a kilted lunch.

"The Sign" Scratchy??
Any one else have any problems with the 17th? Any suggestions for a different Saturday? (I have plans for the weekend of the 23th, so we might have to try sometime in May.)
