World War II re-enactor from San Antonio Highland Games

Here's a photo of my girl, Molly, with a WWII re-enactor at the recent San Antonio Highland Games. Note the full kilt apron he's sporting. He gave an interesting talk explaining all his equipment and elements of his uniform.

Did he say he was WWI or WWII? He seems to be wearing/carrying all WWII (or later) uniform and kit. His blouse looks to be a P37 or P40, his web gear also looks like the P37 gear, his rifle is an Enfield #4 with a postwar (c. 1948-1949) bayonet.

The website "What Price Glory" has had the over aprons at times.

Thanks for the info Standard. I have seen them on that site before but they have not had photos to confirm if they cover all around or just the front. I suppose I could drop Jerry an email. Cheers mate

I'm sure you're correct... I missed the the first part of the presentation and assumed that it was WWII, so the mistake was mine!
