Breton Tartans
Do you offer any of the Breton (Brittany) tartans such as Breton National, Breton Knight, or Bro Wened?
Might they be available in wool blend homespun?
Thanks so much.

Wool blend? Irrespective of the answer, nothing homespun is available commercially nowadays.

I have seen several 55/45 poly wool blends listed under Celtic Croft on Etsy, that is why I figured I would check with you folks.

Understood. Personally, I would not go near such a mixture; pure wool for me every time. My comment about homespun remains.

We don't have any of those in homespun. I checked with the Tartan Authority and I'm not finding a current weaver. I can check with some of our weavers if you are interested in wool.

Thanks so much for checking. I really appreciate it. There is a company in Paris (Maison du Kilt) that sells kilts in these tartans, but only in the EU... so far all attempts to contact them have not been successful. The kilts are supposedly made in Scotland according to their website...

I used to get my Breton tartans 16 oz wool from ScotlandShop.com in Duns, it may be worth asking them if they still have any stock, just a thought. Cheers

I will check them out! Thanks so much!
Bretagne, France is amazingly beautiful! We were there in July of 2018. Had a wonderful time walking through the neighborhoods of our ancestors. And most of the still looked very similar even though they emigrated in the 1650's! The American border agents added the extra letters at the end of the family name.
Thanks once again!
