Sorry to say I haven't been there in ages, since my mom lived in Elizabethton, late 1980s into the early 1990s.
Have a great time!! I'll be looking forward to the pictures so I can vicariously experience it.
BTW if any of you all happen to snap some pics of pipe bands I'd love to see those in particular. Thanks!

I see that all the bands got the memo about white hose.
It was around 15 years ago, when the bands here in California, and in Scotland, had all switched to dark hose, that I was going back for my annual visit to the Bridgeport (West Virginia) Highland Games and asked for permission to march in the Massed Bands.
Well, I looked around and I was the only one who wasn't wearing white hose! I was thinking "didn't they get the memo?"
