I have again become a stranger on the board - life has been full! - but I will be in Edinburgh for the last week of January, and am wondering whether any local kilt nights might be planned ... aside, obviously, from the 25th. That particular night I will be in the historic Sheep Heid Inn with a former student of mine, kilted of course. I am heading to Scotland primarily to give a talk at the university (unkilted, discussing a medieval English crucifixion play!) and to attend some related meetings, but would happily get together with any local XMarkers, given the chance.
