When I measure myself with a Brannock device, my foot measurements are quite average.
However, my toes are much wider than the toe box of most shoes, and a Brannock device doesn't account this.
I wear Crocs a lot, because they match the shape of my feet exceptionally well, and after a long day, I can feel it. But I'd also like to have a pair of shoes that offers the same comfort, but with a different appearance, so I'll have more variety. My dress shoes have been sitting in my closet for years, ever since I decided the discomfort wasn't worth it.
I'd love to find ankle boots, brogues, walking shoes. As long as they're very comfortable and look acceptable with a kilt.
Referencing the attachment, my toes look like the ones in green on the bottom. I don't care if I look like a duck by pointed-toe standards. I can't constrict my toes in a narrow toe box.
EDIT: The attachment appears to have disappeared. Here's the image I was referencing: https://barefootandfree.ae/cdn/shop/...3.18.42_PM.jpg
