    Question Best Canadian kilt makers.

Who would you suggest as the best Canadian kilt maker for quality and service that you could have a kilt made in under 4 months?

How about trying Burnetts and Struth. They are Lochcarron of Scotland’s(the tartan mill) Canadian store/division. They make all the kilts for the Scottish regiments as well as their cadet affiliated corps. They also make a lot of custom police tartans like RCMP and OPP. They also made my air cadet pipes bands kilts in the airforce tartan here in Ottawa.

    Thanks man.

I have two kilts made by them. Kind of curious though about other good quality options.

I’ve had good luck with John at Keltoi.

I never knew that they were owned by a Scottish Mill. I always thought they were an independent maker.

If you look at their website, you can see that they use exclusively Locharron Fabric rather then any of the other mills.

They are Stewart of Atholl modern and Hunting Stewart modern, both of them are 16oz. I’m looking to have a Hunting Stewart weathered made.

My kilt was made by John @ Keltoi as well; and I am still very happy with it.
