    Gunn Modern Semi-trad Pics

Finally....got a chance to take some pics of my new Gunn Modern semi-trad with the new camera. Umpteen great grandmother Mary Gunne would be proud - we're talking 1675 on here folks....a few drops of Gunn blood in my veins.

That's Tower Butte and Navajo Mountain in the background.

The pleats ain't rumpled...they're dancing in the wind.

Funny, I looked at the swatches for years. When I finally decided to buy the Gunn Modern I was amazed at what a beautiful tartan it is and how much better it looks made up as a kilt than it does as a swatch.

But then all the Gunn cousins on this board already know that.

I know EXACTLY what you mean about seeing it in person made into a kilt. The Gunn modern is by far my favorite coloring. I have to have another some day (sold the USAK casual a while back.) I'm thinking a 5 yarder wool would be nice...

Ron it looks great I never thought of mixing those colours with the Gunn Modern, my Grandmother was a Gunn and the Gunn Modern was my first kilt, now I just have to get one that fits, as it has shrunk.
