New Kilt in McIntyre & Glenorchy
I'm now the proud owner of a Barb Tewksbury kilt!
I couldn't be happier!
It's perfect in every way. She is truly a master kiltmaker!
Thank you, Barb!

Is Barb still making kilts? If not, who else is? I see Matt Newsome went on kilt-making hiatus a long while back. Sorry, I've been out of touch for a long while.

I wondered the same thing. I sent her an email in February (along with two other kilt makers) inquiring about having a new kilt made. She was the only one who never responded so I wondered if she might have taken a hiatus from kilt making ...
I'm glad all is well and perhaps my email was just lost in cyberspace!

That is strange, I'll let her know though as I've been in contact with her.

Thank you for offering, but no need to trouble yourself ... or her. I decided to go with Paul Henry, about whom many people in this forum had expressed satisfaction and confidence. I believe the kilt will be shipped to me any day. He has sent me a couple of photos of the kilt in progress and I can hardly wait to receive it.

I saw the photos, it looks like it will be incredible. An early congratulations.
