Welcome to the Festival of Wintersnight

November 1st - 4th at Dragon Hills in Bowdon Ga

We hope you all can make it down to North Georgia for our first annual event, Hosted by the Cu Sith

We plan on making sure this is an action packed weekend with everything a good festival should have, from great food, to great drink, to great friends, and great fighting... Did i mention its going to be great?

We already have a lot of people promising to come make this an event to remember but we need everyone to make our first Gathering spectacular.

Events planned so far:

Thursday set up and pickup fights
Thursday Night
BYOB Bonfire Social - as tall a fire as we can build, and we all get drunk(21 to drink)

Friday Day Fights

Saturday
Woods/Fort Battles 12-3 (pickups for those not wanting to go into the woods, Unit/Realm/Large Army rest of day.

Saturday Night Feast( The Festival) Roast Pig/Chili(TBD), KEG (TBD)
Party games? something cool festivalish maybe.(TBD)

Schedule of Events:

Thursday 2pm: Troll Opens, pickup battles only.
Thursday Night: Fun around the fire.


Friday 9:30am - Herald Meeting (Mandatory for all Heralds)
Friday 10:30am - Weapons Check (Fighting will begin once weapons check is complete. Latecomers will wait for an available herald to have check completed.
Friday till Dark - Battles ranging from Field, bridge, stack the cones and a few other games. We will break at some point for food and have water breaks through out the day.
Friday 7:30pm-9pm - Tournaments (except for dagger/archery)
Friday 9:30pm - ??- The Great Hunt - A night fight and hunt of epic proportions, only daggers, blues, shields will be allowed. We will separate into 10 teams with glow stick identifications and there will be a scavenger hunt. The bulk of the points is to capture the white stag. More details when the fun begins!!!


Saturday 10:30am- Weapons check
Saturday till Dark Battles ranging Field, Unit, Realm, Bridge, woods, fort....more variety than you can shake a foam stick at.
Saturday 7pm-9pm The Festival of Wintersnight - Amazing Feast with our archery and dagger tournament for your viewing pleasure.


Sunday Noon - Cleanup, pack up, and go home and tell your friends how awesome the event was, so that they will attend next year.
