Burns Night Supper in Grand Rapids Michigan Jan 25, 2014
Wife and I are planning on going to the Grand Rapids, Michigan, Burns Night Supper again this year. We have been the last two years.
Any Michiganders wanting more information can send me a PM. Cost is $27.50 per person, which is reasonable, I believe.

Hello Tom Hays, I am a fellow Michigander who shares the love of all things Scottish. I'm dying to get out to a place where I can wear my kilt. I've heard tell of Burns Nights but don't actually know what they're all about. I'd guess a bunch of people reciting Burns poems/songs?

That's a bargain! After hemming and hawing for some time, I just signed up for a family membership to the St Andrews Society here in Central Florida and their Burns Night supper is 40 bucks a head - I wasn't gonna be able to go this year anyway but I plan to catch up with them at heir tent at our Highland Games in a couple weeks. And they have regular pub nights so I'll start going to that in February...
Enjoy yours!
And I'll be sure and be ready to get a ticket in a year for the next Burns night!

Thanks Tom for the reminder. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend because my wife's brother is visiting from Munich.

Grand Rapids Scottish Society puts it on. It is always a great time. The dinner is at Wallinwood Springs Golf Club in Jenison. It is prepaid reservations only. Wish we could be there, but going to the Central Florida Highland Games will be fun, too.
