The Art of Kiltmaking, 3rd printing, available on Amazon
The Art of Kiltmaking is now in its third printing! This printing differs from previous ones in having a standard paperback binding and in having the eight original color plates printed in black and white. You can, however, download a free pdf of the original color plates, if you want them. The third printing also includes a 2019 update on sources of tartan and supplies for kiltmaking, but, in all other respects, the book is the same as the second printing. So, if you already own a copy, you don't need to buy a new one.
Because of the change in binding (standard paperback instead of wire binding) and no interior color (cover is still in color), the cost is lower than the first and second printings. The book will be available shortly from a number of vendors in the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe, and some of these vendors still have a few copies of the earlier wire-bound version, if you want one of the last of those.
The book lists for $19.95 in the US and is available from Amazon. But please note - on Amazon, the new printing is the one that is clearly labelled Paperback and sells for $19.95. Several third party vendors are selling copies of the first and second printings (labelled Spiral bound on Amazon) for staggering prices!
And before you ask, a Kindle version will have to wait until I am no longer so swamped with work - maybe when I retire???

Awesome. I’ll have to download the pdf for the updates; but I love my copy and the ability to lay it down open.

Actually, the pdfs are currently for the color figs (which you already have in your wire bound copy) and for the box pleat supplement. But it's a GREAT idea to make a pdf of the updates to the suppliers list available, too. I'll try to have that up by the end of the weekend. I'll post something here when it's up!

Does this edition include the supplemental for children’s kilts?

It's actually not a new edition - it's just a new printing. So, with the exception of the supplier's list update, it's the same as the 2nd printing.
