Hello,

I'm Derek from Sunnyvale CA. I've been a member of the forms for many years but drifted away from all this Scottish and have not been active. I recently went back the the Highland Games with a friend and it rekindled my interest all things Scottish. I discovered that all three of my kilts "shrunk in the closet" so I have ordered a new kilt from USA Kilts and I'm looking to purchase a great kilt in the near future.

I'm not much of forms person. I like to read what folks have to say but I find it a bit difficult to speak up and "contribute". I'll try and do better here.

Were you at Pleasanton? I was there both days, well three counting the Open Solo Piping competition on Friday at the host hotel (San Ramon Marriott).

See you there next year? I'm not sure if I'll still be playing in a Pipe Band then, or if I'll retire to the sidelines.
