Here is evidence of an attendance at the Burns Ceilidh sponsored by the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society of Houston last Saturday evening. The evening included: Piping in the Haggis; the Address to the Haggis (from a Scot who knows); A Toast to the Lassies; A Toast to the Laddies; scotch; wines; a reading from each table of Burns poetry that paid for queueing up to load our plates; back medicine; LOTS of Scottish country dancing....(No Immortal Memory - Thank you, Lord) From right to left: Shaun Maxwell; Kim Maxwell (wife, Shaun said); Andrea McIntyre (my wife); and, myself.
