I am the first to admit that "techno jargon" arrived too late in my life for me to understand most of it. So what is meant by "to tag a user"? In words that I might, with a bit of luck, understand please.

Hi everyone thanks for your messages. Yes that what I ment by my questions. I had a tartan related question that I asked in another posted thread but wasn’t sure how to get Figheadair to see my post so I could get some clarification or if he was ever going to see my question

Perhaps the question should be in the "Contemporary" forum? Maybe a poor attempt at levity, but as xmarks is as close to social media as I get, defining "tagging" was beyond me. The question did, however, bring back some fond memories of playing Freeze Tag with my siblings many years ago.

You should have received a notice that you were "mentioned" in a post here.

Really? I am not at all sure that I have.

@Jock Scot, let's give it a try and see if it works. I seem to recall receiving notice in the past. See if you get an email notifying you that you've been mentioned.
Cheers,
