Does Anyone Know A Tartan Close To This?
I recently read somewhere that Laphroig had, at one time, issued a tartan so, being a fan of Laphroig, I thought it would be awesome to have a kilt in Laphroig tartan. To this end, I reached out to Laphroig and ask them about their tartan, and they emailed me back saying that they don't currently have an official tartan, however, they do have products in their store with a tartan pattern and they suggested that I try to find something close to that. They also said that if I were to be able to get a kilt made in that pattern please let them know. So, my question to the forum is, does anyone here know of a tartan pattern that is close to the collar and pocket square in this picture?

Your photo did not seem to come through. Do you have it on your home computer or is it stored on the web somewhere like postimg?
As I can't see your photo I checked the Scottish Register of Tartan and there does not appear to be a design under the name Laphroig. Is it possible that it may be listed under another name?

I tried to delete the post when I could get the picture to come through, even though I got a message showing it as attached, but couldn't figure out how to delete the post.
They told me they don't have an official tartan, but they told me to check the store for items with a tartan pattern and perhaps I could get a kilt made with a pattern close to that in their store. The picture I attempted to post was a picture of that store item.

Here is the Laphroaig tartan. It seems that it was intended for some promotion events around the distillery's 200th anniversary in 2015. It was never registered and appears to have been dropped.
Regularly available tartans that have a similar overall appearance include: Tara/Murphy; Scott Htg; Seton Htg etc.

Thanks Peter!
To me it's a handsome tartan, spacious and understated with lovely colours.
Wouldn't be a bad thing if Laphroaig were to do a run of it and use it for promotional purposes as well as offer it to the public.

I'm not sure why the picture is not showing up. It showed in the post preview but I can't get it to show in the actual post.

If you aren't brand specific there is a beautiful tartan called Angel's Share. https://www.tartanregister.gov.uk/ta...ails?ref=11497
