I would if I still lived in STL! The St. Andrew Society always holds a celebration at various places from year to year - you may want to check out there website. I always celebrated my St. Andrew's Day at The Scottish Arms in the Central West End - the place to be for a proper pint or dram, and excellent Scottish (Highland) inspired cuisine. And not to mention, all of my mates are there, to include arguably the best piper in Missouri, Matt Pantaleoni. Plus for fall and winter, the fire pit on the back patio simply cannot be beat...my wife and I will be in St. Louis the middle of next month for a extended weekend visit, and we both can't wait to visit our 'hame away from hame' at The Arms. Ally Nisbet of Aberdeen, Scotland, and the owner, takes care of his patrons.

Wish I could be there for Nov. 30,

I'm pretty sure we would be down with that, as long as we get maybe a week's notice. Could be a very enjoyable evening!

Which direction are you coming from, we're thinking st charles (grappa grill) at the moment, december 3rd if that suits folks...

Certainly willing to consider other more southerly places too

The Third would probably work well. Coming from the North, but might be in St. Louis anyway, so probably on Saturday any place would work.

Lywellen's Pub in historic downtown Saint Charles is also a perfect place! Such a great area, and where they have Missouri Tartan Day - at Frontier Park - every April.

Have fun gents, wish I could be there!
