Kilt night (day) Feb. 16 in San Francisco
I am planning a get-together for a visiting xmarker from Scotland on Saturday 16, Feb starting around 3PM so as to avoid any crowds in the pubs. The location has not yet been decided but thanks to several of the NorCal raqbble I have some excellent suggestions, most of which are within walking distance of Bart stations.
Hope to see a large turnout to welcome our Scottish fellow member to SF. Will advise on here and also the NorCal rabble facebook page once the pub has been decided on.
The date could change if it were to coincide with Jamie getting out of the hospital on the same day. Hopefully he will be home long before this date however.

The get-together to welcome our Scots visitor, Jordan, will be at Martin Macks pub, 1568 Haight St., midway between Ashbury and Clayton Sts. at 3PM on Saturday Feb. 16. It is a large pub and should afford us plenty of uncrowded space to enjoy a wee dram or two and some good pub grub as well. Hopefully a lot of you can make it to show our visitor true U.S.A hospitality.
If you are coming to town by Bart, you should exit Bart at the Powell St. station, go up to Market St. from the subway and board a 71 bus. Get off at Clayton St and walk back 1/2 block to the pub.
If you have any questions I can be contacted at payton@jps.net
Looking forward to seeing many of you then.

It's looking like I'll be able to make it -- looking forward to meeting Jordan!
EDIT: Okay, slight adjustment made and things juggled just a wee bit -- I'm definitely "in"!
