Hello,
I'm Vito from Italy and will greet you with a "buonasera".
I hope you can help me with your experience and advice:
For a long time now, I have my eye on a (modified) dufflecoat
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5s7ZznoOxc
but using a tartan fabric. (The work shall do a local tailor.)
When I see the web stores, I think I would even like a three-piece tartan suit.
But I have doubts whether there can be a problem with creases.
Coat and jacket should be wrinkle-resistant when e.g. driving for 1-2 h
in a car.
Some photos used in online shops don't convince me ...
Look here (sorry for the links but I don't have the permission yet to upload photos):
The creases in the trousers coming from sitting.

or the back view of this jacket.

Does the tendency to resist wrinkling depend on the thickness of the cloth?
For the coat I would prefer 13 oz.
For the suit - because I'm perspiring very intensely - as thin as possible: 10oz or, what do you think, 8 oz?
Are 8 oz suitable for jacket and trousers?
Or depend wrinkling on the way the fabric is woven or which parts of pure new wool are used?
And at the moment my last question please:
Is it a good idea, to order online a made to measure suit
or should I (at any case) personally visit a store?
... I have already checked the air connections ... Rome - Edinburgh ...
Many thanks in advance!
Vito
