Maine Highland Games / St. Patrick's Day Countdown

The Maine Highland Games are next Saturday, August 17th at the Topsham Fair Grounds. Afterwards, the Maine Public Safety Pipe & Drum Corps will be playing at their monthly Countdown to St. Patrick's Day at 7:00 pm at Byrnes Irish Pub in Brunswick.

Ill be in attendance at both and hope to see some fellow X Markers there!

I will be in the barn doing kilt making demos with Patti Smith. Between the two of us we have almost
every swatch book available from the mills on display.

Scout, the pub sounds good. We will be there if I can get someone to check on my lab pup during the day.

Sounds like fun Tartan Tess. Would be nice to see a kilt in the process of being made and to note some of the fabrics and tartans out there.
