Tartan Day Celebration in Taos
Taos will have its first ever Tartan Day Celebration/Kilt Night on Wednesday April 14th, 2010. The Location is Eskes Brew Pub, just off of the historic Plaza. Live Celtic music is on tap, as well as some mighty good craft beers.
More details to follow as they become available!

Sounds like that should be a fun evening. Do you happen to know any kilt friendly B & B's?
Sandy and I are thinking about coming up for a couple of nights.

Of Course!
A kilt friendly B&B? Such as one where the innkeeper was wearing a kilt just this afternoon? Where they also can serve a traditional Scottish breakfast? Where there is a full selection of celtic music available during breakfast and afternoon refreshment time?
Why...one does come to mind. Try the Little Tree B&B at www.littletreebandb.com !

Gordon, we're looking forward to the Tartan Day Celebration at Eskes Brew Pub, meeting you and visiting your beautiful B & B.
Hopefully other X Markers will make the trip to Taos for the celebration.

A Fun Time Coming Up!
I have been out and about today talking with folks about our Tartan Day Celebration/Kilt Night this Wednesday evening. Looks like we will have 4 kilts at a minimum, hopefully many more.
Celtic music, craft beer, and pub grub have been confirmed.
Not bad for a small town of 6,000!
See you there Bruce!!

A Little Late
A little late in posting, but we did have a bang up night at Eske's Brew Pub in Taos to honor Tartan Day!
Bruce and his Bride Sandy came up from Albuquerque, so we had a total of 4 kilts and, it turns out, 10 revellers. Not bad for a first time event.
We are already planning next year's event.
See you there!
