    Hawick Reivers Festival

    Of particular interest to ARMSTRONGS, ELLIOTS, SCOTTS, TURNBULLS and other Border Reiver families but a great weekend for all.
    Friday 22nd March
    Scocha perform in Hawick Town Hall.
    Saturday 23rd March
    Reivers ride into town in procession; mediaeval market; hot trod (torchlight parade); fireworks etc..
    Sunday 24th March
    Reivers encampment in Wilton Lodge Park and re-enactments etc.

    Have you seen the "Clans of Scotland" episode that featured the Armstrongs and the Border Reivers? If so, what did you think of it?

    If only I could. Each year is gonna be the year; soon it will be. Though reading this, I realize it's the same weekend
    as the Niel Gow Fiddle Festival in Dunkeld/Birnam. Both fabulous weekends for any who can, and being in Scotland
    at the right time, and missing either would be painful.
