    Highland Dance

My wee lass is a highland dancer, has been for 2 years now. I've been posting videos of her dancing at various competitions on the internet for family to view who cannot be there... if anyone is interested in watching, they can do so at...

A lovely set of pictures - it is partly through my daughters dance that I have started to learn about my heritage - I love it! How long have you been playing the pipes? My wife suggested once that I learn, and I haven't said no yet.. ;-)

    Great job! Thanks for posting

My daughter (10yrs old) has always had an interest in our Scottish/Irish heritage, she has a lot of (varied) musical talent, and this year took up violin.
In the very near future she wants to take up Celtic fiddle lessons!

The beginning Hullachan was too cute! We dance that as part of a medley in Scottish Country Dancing and to see the little ones doing it is just great! I wish there was more social dancing as a part of the Highland Dance "curriculum".
