Forum Downtime
For those wondering why the forum is so quiet this morning:
There is a problem with the automatic renewal of the domain name. Some can still see the forum, but most people will be seeing a "domain expired" notice.
I've been on the Steve via his cell phone, and he is on the case.

The Domain name is safe. I have renewed it this morning. I apologize to everyone.
I do not know why the Domain was not automatically renewed eventhough I have notification from them that it was supposed to be.

It was an amazing sight -- The Wizard lost his cool. The phone call came arousing him from a late-morning sleep-in. He bounded down the stairs without kilt ..... without clothes for that matter ... and ran to the computer. He almost left the house in "a natural state", running to the kilt shop (thank goodness we live so close). That would have caused interesting discussion in the neighbourhood -- Steve without his kilt (no one would comment in this neighbourhood about the overall lack of clothing, probably).....
Heart rate has gone back to normal.......
My honey-do list has been put on the side burner ......again.

I am well and truly relieved to see the now familiar X Marks banner instead of the horrible "domain expired"!! I actually had to do housework this morning!

Thanks for taking care of us Steve. I was a little concerned when I got the expired message this morning, but figured you were on top of it.

My wife managed to talk me back off the ledge once XMTS was up and running again.

Dammit - so the domain isn't up for sale after all.

Was REALLY worried when I saw the 'parked domain' thing...
Was contemplating the terrible thought of having to do some real work!
Thanks for getting the site back up and running again so swiftly - our daily fix of plaid is safe once again!

The real question isn't whether The Wizard ran outside without his clothes, but rather whether he ran outside without his mug of coffee and his pipe
In all seriousness, thank you, Steve, for the morning's mad rush.
