Anyone alive in NC?(Rowan/Cabarrus/Iredell/Davie)
I'm in Salisbury, and with so many kids, I don't get out often. I couldn't tell you the last time I went out for a beer (just one, in a bar/pub, not to get drunk, just to get out). I know there are others in the area. Right now, W-S/Greensboro and Charlotte are a bit far for me to go, just having to get back home. Does anyone have an interest in going out for a beer in the Cabarrus/Iredell/Rowan/Davie counties area?

Alright you "North State boys and girls", give Woody a hand with his plight. Those that know the conditions of family timing appreciate his terms. He just needs a little "quasi - adult kilting" time away from the house. Good luck Woody, I did my best for your cause.

All my family is from Coastal SC. I'm the first in NC, with the exception of a few that were Coastal NC 200 years ago.
With 5 kids and my wife in grad school, getting out of town, even to the Triad, is a bit tricky, but not completely impossible. Just takes a bit of planning. I know McKenzie is in my town. Maybe I'll just start by bribing him with a drink.
