TDK size swap?
Hello Rabble,
I have a few 5.11 TDKs that no longer fit me... They are size 38.
(#1) Black and (#2) TDU Green are brand new in package.
(#3) Multicam is practically new, only worn inside the house, never been outside, never been dirtied.
(#4) Khaki has been lightly worn, and been outside once or twice. Very well taken care of. Like-new condition.
If anyone would like to swap me a new or like-new TDK in size 36, I'd love to hear and see it/them!
(and if no one takes them, I'll be attempting an adjustment tab experiment on the waistband.)
Thanks,
Dexter

Trade or resizing?
Good evening Dexter, I have had luck installing snaps on my UT kilt downsizing from a 42 to a 40. Cost was about 8 bucks for snaps and punch. I have been lurking around the 511 site thinking about a inexpensive run around the house kilt. I have a 38 waist in jeans but a 40 kilt. Would like to know what you think of them too.

While they're nothing compared to a traditionally made wool kilt (apples to oranges, really), it's perfectly good for casual knocking around! It's not a traditional kilt-replacement, it's something different.
I had a thread elsewhere on this forum about possibly resizing it via straps. The project is planned, and awaiting my mother-in-law's time at the sewing machine!
I do have a few that fit, in the 36 size (38" kilt waist), and they're good. Anything one would wear cargo shorts with, these do just fine. For what they cost, they're great.
