Can two ladies kilts be combined to make a larger waist kilt for a lady?
Several years ago my wife purchased an A line skirt and a kilted ladies garment of the same tartan fabric.
Unfortunately (for her) as her age has increased, so has her waistline, and neither of these garments fit properly.
The tartan fabric is the Lady Diana Memorial Tartan, a lovely soft blue.
Can anyone help me to find a kiltmaker who could use the material from the A Line straight kilt to make the kilted skirt larger?
I don't know if this tartan is still available any more. It isn't shown as an option on some of the kiltmaker sites I have looked at.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tom
