    R'Lyeh Tartan Order!

USA Kilts is doing another run of the R'Lyeh tartan in 16 oz wool. We're accepting orders NOW through April 20, 2021, at which point we're closing orders and having the cloth woven (exact amount... not ordering much 'extra'). Products ordered in the cloth will be delivered in early August (barring any global pandemic related delays).

If you have ever coveted the R'Lyeh tartan, but missed out on the runs back in 2011 and 2013, now is your chance!

What is the R'lyeh tartan? R'lyeh, is the fictional lost island city in Lovecraft's tales, sunken deep under the Pacific Ocean where the Great Old One, Cthulhu, is interred. Cthulhu is the fictional cosmic entity created by writer H. P. Lovecraft in 1928. A gigantic deity worshipped by cultists, Cthulhu is variously described in appearance as a massive hybrid of human, octopus, and dragon.

The R'Lyeh tartan was designed in 2011 by Scott Huber and is being woven by USA Kilts with his permission.

Glad to see this being resurrected (the R'Lyeh sett, not Cthulhu!).

I miss having Artificer around. He was an asset to the forum!

    Cheers,

I still wear my original kilt in this tartan from the first run, on occasion. It's a lovely design and I always get compliments. Well worth it, IMO.

Fortunately, I got in on the second run of the tartan and was able to have Barb Tewksbury craft a wonderful kilt.
