It's here, It's here!!!!
I was stitiching up pleat #5 in the X-Kilt protytpe #1 and *pound, pound* on the door.
It's my Muted MacNaughton 6-yard PV, from Caledonian Kilts in Scotland!!!!!
It's here, it's RUDDY GORGEOUS,and it's ALL MINE!!!!
mwah-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!
PS: Caledonian Kilts also made my Holyrood 5 yard kilt. Davey, the owner is is a good guy, and stays in communication during the process. There was a delay in getting the fabric from Marton Mills, and he let me know what was going on via e-mail. He ships Royal Mail Air, and it took exactly a week from when he shipped it from Edinborogh to my door in California. I cannot recommend Caledonian Kilts strongly enough. They sell on ebay, check 'em out.
Pics to come as soon as I can....

BTW, I bought this kilt because I've been so happy with my Holyrood Kilt from Caledonian Kilts, and while I hate to say this, I've been less than thrilled with my Bear Kilt. While I've enjoyed wearing the Bear Kilt, it's gotten a bit distorted in the waist over the year I've worn it and I've had to stitch it back together again. Bears work is neat and well-done, but it's a four-yard and well.....now I know. No more four-yard knife pleated kilts for me.
There's a big difference between a four-yard kilt on me (48 inch rear end) and a five yard, and a six yard is even better. For me, personally I'm sold on the notion of 6-yard, knife pleated kilts.
Whatever the case, the Bear Kilt is sold to a friend and the new one is HERE!!!
