It's a pity, they've stolen some of the "bodies" from Matt's site. #19/Brad Pit and #11/Jake Gyllenhaal, and #3/David Becham are all on the body of David (also a member here.) #4 is on one of Matt's client's body too, who's also a member, but I can't recall his name. #5/Ryan Reynolds is on none other than Matt Newsome's body.

Sorry, but I don't see what the pityful part of the story is.
And I've filed suit for copyright infringement on some of my published work.
Dealing with the internet, you'll find that the term 'derivative works' applies to images published in the public domain.
The bottom line and I guess the point of the OP was to show us something funny, and it is.
Sometimes we all have to take things as they are and stop over-analizing everything.

That's great. I particularly liked their choice for number 1.

It’s parody…?
No worries, the lawyers will make it into something else.

And it seems you've done just that: over-analyzed. I never said anything about copyright or infringement. I simply expressed my opinion. If I think it's a "pity" you're not going to to convince me otherwise simply because it's "within the law."

You lost me there Brad. You think is pitiful, I don't, and I expressed why not.
Not trying to convince anyone of anything. I just remembered making collages during art class in highschool. Using/cutting/reassembling images and making new ones out of them.

I doesn't seem that the blogger meant any harm or intended to make any profit... and it was pretty entertaining.

I understand the whole copyring issue and agree, the owner of the blog is Nick Fiddes of Scotweb, so in a round about way it is for money. The blog has been made to garner attention on kilt wearing among the general public by using the reconzible faces of celebrities... but on a lighter note they have Ewan McGregor, and if they looked around a little they could have found one with him in a kilt.. he has been the Chieftain of many Highland Games in Scotland, and seems to be very involved in the community.

It would be cool if that blog actually led to more celebrities in kilts.
