New brown belt and waist plate

My lovely Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess and my two children gave me a new belt and waist plate for Father's Day

It was from Stillwater and is apparently an upgrade over their standard belt and buckle. It is a nice medium brown and the leather was nice and flexible (making it easy to adjust and have lay flay). The thistle embossed design is very prominent and goes all the way around the belt. The buckle / waist plate is quite handsome but the brass metal makes it (in my eyes) fine for smart day wear.

Here are a couple of pictures

Note: It is possible that someone might have just peeked in the StillWater Kilt package that arrived on the doorstep and then spent Friday morning whipping up a matching sporran strap. Though I'm sure no one would hold that against him. Right?

Me and my lovely bride who is all the gift I will ever need or want

For anyone interested here is a link to the item at the Stillwater site

    Cheers

That is certainly the best way to keep the home fires burning brightly, Mr. Jamie. Well said.

    looking sharp

    Very nice indeed!

I really like the belt, buckle and sporran.

The whole look is smart as it is on the dark side and all matches well.
