    Made a kilt pin

I'm a member of a student rowing club. And this week we will have our annual Diner and Ball. I going in a kilt with as much full dress as I can. So I needed a Kilt pin. I did not like the idea of all the claymore shaped pins so I decided on making my own.
    Shaped like a rowing pole.

This was only a test. I made a much nicer one this week. But decided It should be on a nicer person So my Date will be wearing it as a brooch or corsage.

    Cool. Hope it goes well.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

What a great idea. Rowing is one of my great loves, I wish I had thought of it.

A pleasant change from the run of the mill kilt pins - and really good looking!

Very nice looking kilt pin. What is it crafted from? Does the blade of the paddle go up or down?

That's a fine piece of craftsmanship. Do tell us how you made it.
