    Rams Horn Walking Stick

Here is the Rams horn walking stick that I just finished:

    Raw Horn Front
    Raw Horn Back
    Polished Horn front
    Polished Horn Back
I was pleased how it turned out. What do you think?

Very nice! Where did you get the ram's horn? What kind of wood? How did you attach the ram's horn to the wood?

I only wish I was so talented!

I've seen it live. The photo doesn't do it justice. He made it look as if the horn is growing out of the wood. Very innovative and beautiful work.

What do I think, Mike. I think I want some close-up pictures of that magnificent stick!

I bought the rams horn online and sanded off the rough "shell" and did lots of polishing to get the nice luster you see. The wood is Sycamore with an ebony stain. I attached the horn after lots of prep work with a final epoxy to make sure it would stay.
