Looking for information about a clan chief.

I am descended from the clan Ferguson and have just recently trying to find information on our clan chief. However I have been falling flat at a basic family tree and the area he lives in. I haven't even been able to find a picture of Sir Charles Fergusson, 9th Baronet of Kilkerran. I know he was born in 1931 and is still serving as Chief, but that's all I can find. Anyone know of any other information?

Not sure if it's age or health but Sir Charles doesn't seem to get around much. I have been looking for two days and have not found more than what has been presented here. I do hope he is okay.

The thing is, of course, that although he was born to the job, he might not want it.

Not all are wealthy enough to perform the functions of Clan Chief and not all were brought up to a Scottish lifestyle.

The Chief of Clan Chisholm is a farmer, who lives not 10 miles away from my front door. Apart from his first name (Hamish), you would never know that he had any Scottish roots at all.

When I was searching thru sites yesterday after your intial question, I did see a 2011 photo of the chief in New Zealand during his time there at the local AGM. Can't find it today after a quick browse, sorry

Actually the information you gave allowed me to find a couple of images by entering his name+2011+New Zealand.

He is in the far right in this image

and in the front row left hand in this one.
